1. Registrar
The CDS, a premier research and teaching institution in the social sciences, invites applications for the post of Registrar.
The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree with an additional degree in Law or a post-graduate degree/diploma in Management and ten or more years of administrative experience at a senior supervisory level in an organization of national repute. Experience in academic/research institutions would be an advantage. Candidates should be fully conversant with administrative and financial rules and procedures in government/public institutions, capable of handling correspondence and familiar with management of an IT-enabled office environment. The Registrar is the head of the Centre’s administration and responsible for its extensive facilities. Residence on campus in quarters made available to the incumbent would be mandatory.
The age limit is 50 years as on 1.1.2013. The scale of pay is Rs. 40640-1000-48640-1100-57440. The selected candidate will be on probation for one year. It may be noted that the Selection Committee may relax some of the stated qualifications for exceptional candidates. The selected candidate would be expected to join at the earliest.
