1. The last date for applying for MA has been further extended to May 10, 2020.
2. The entrance examination scheduled on May 17, 2020 has been postponed and the new date and the centres of examination will be announced in due course. Applicants are requested to check this site regularly for updates.
3. The candidates can now submit their application forms for admission to MA and PhD programmes through email also. The candidates can either send the scanned copy of filled up Application Form and Hall-ticket attached to an email Or they can fill in the softcopy of the application and hall ticket available for download in MS -Word format from this website. For email submission of applications:
(a) Only filled in application, hall ticket and Photograph are required to send as attachments; copies of other certificates, mentioned in our prospectus, are not required at this stage.
(b) Please make sure that the applicant’s photos are affixed at the required places both in the Application form and in the Hall ticket.
(c) The application fee can be paid through a bank transfer. The instructions for this are as follows

(d) In case of online transfer, please indicate the UTR/Transaction ID number in the space provided in the application form to furnish DD details. SBI remitters are requested to attach a copy of the transaction slip along with the application.

4. Those who sent the hardcopy of the application through postal/courier service are advised to send a softcopy of the application form and Hall ticket available for download in MS word format from this website. As mentioned in 3(a) and 3 (b) above, they need to send only the filled up application form and Hall ticket.
