Professor A Vaidyanathan had written his memoir of sorts in July 2017. After his passing away, his family has put it together in the form of an extremely readable prose which maps out his professional journey over the years. You can find a very interesting account of his 8 year stay in CDS and also his subsequent association with our Centre in it (see pp. 32-42). Vaidi has written in a few pages a succinct history of CDS’s initial years and this is a gift to us from him in the 50th Foundation Year of our Centre.
