Admission to the Ph.D. programme in the academic year 2024-25will be based on UGC-NET score and Junior Research Fellowship of UGC (UGCJRF). Applications will be invited from candidates who are declared to be eligible for PhD admission on the basis of UGC-NET examination. Admission of candidates who are not qualified for UGC-JRF will be based on interview and the score they obtain in the forthcoming UGCNET examination and weightage of interview and UGC-NET score are 30 and 70 percent respectively. Admission of candidates, who are qualified for UGC-JRF will be based on interview alone. However, JRF qualified candidates can seek admission on the basis of their UGC-NET score also, but not allowed to choose both options, namely JRF and NET score. In this case, interview and UGC-NET score carry weightage of 30 and 70 percent respectively.
